Lessons are never dull when Kent is gently pushing you along the sometimes difficult, but rewarding, path of Putonghua studies. Kent has been teaching me since May 2006. I feel I have made good progress as he introduces an ever wider range of subject matter. Kent's sheer enthusiasm as a teacher is refreshing; he clearly enjoys watching his students succeed. As for the structure of the lessons, Kent has a knack of presenting new vocabulary and phrases in a way that meshes well with past material.
