My husband and I have class with Kent once a week for 1.5 hours. Kent always arrives with a carefully prepared lesson which incorporates useful examples, additional vocabulary and supporting information so our learning goes much beyond the textbook. Kent is excellent at explaining new concepts in a clear and concise manner, and he does a great job of motivating us and keeping us excited about the language.

We appreciate Kent’s determination, professionalism, flexibility, and enthusiasm; all qualities of an excellent teacher. Our classes are always very productive and enjoyable.

I am definitely not a natural at learning additional languages, but Kent is supportive and patient with me. He always provides helpful hints and constructive criticism when needed. Since each lesson is tailor-made for us, I always feel like we are moving at the correct, challenging yet realistic, speed.

After arriving in Hong Kong, we briefly used two different Putonghua teachers (previous to finding Kent). Based on these prior experiences, I can say with the utmost sincerity that Kent is truly talented at his job and I consider us very lucky to have him as our teacher.
